Little Moments privacy policy

Little Moments is a private memory book for your child. It keeps photos, videos, voice recordings and notes on your phone.

What the app keeps, and where

• Everything you add stays on your phone. This means photos, videos, voice recordings, notes, your child's name, birthday and photo, and your settings. They live in the app's own storage on your device.
• We have no servers and no accounts. We never receive, see or store any of your memories or personal details.
• Copies in your Photos. If you allow it, photos and videos you take in the app are also saved to your phone's Photos (Gallery on Android). You can turn this off in the app's Settings. Those copies then follow your phone's own settings, such as iCloud Photos or Google Photos backup, which Apple's or Google's privacy policies cover.
• Backups. Your phone's own backup (for example an iCloud or Google device backup) may include the app's data. That is controlled by your phone, not by us.

Permissions

The app asks for these, and uses each only for what's described:

• Camera: to take photos and videos.
• Microphone: to record voice notes and the sound on videos.
• Photos: to pick existing photos and videos, and to save copies to your Photos.
• Notifications: for the optional daily reminder. The reminder is set on your phone; nothing is sent to us.

What we don't do

• No ads, analytics or tracking.
• No selling or sharing of data, because we don't collect any.
• No sign-in.

App updates

The app checks Expo's update service (expo.dev) for bug fixes. That check sends only technical details such as the app version and phone platform, never your memories. Expo's privacy policy covers it: https://expo.dev/privacy

Children

Little Moments is made for parents to use. It is not designed for children to use by themselves, and it does not collect information from children.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes everything stored in it. Copies saved to your Photos stay there until you delete them yourself.
